John Scott, Organist and Director of Music at St. Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue played a recital at Washington National Cathedral on June 25, 2006 which was recorded for CD release. This CD includes transcriptions of works by Wagner and Handel, modern works by Jonathan Harvey and Ad Wammes and superbly played standard of the organ literature. The 32 page booklet comes with detailed notes of the music, a full stop list, numerous photographs and a fascinating interview with Mr. Scott by New York Times, Assistant Managing Editor, Craig Whitney.
